Demetria Neal
Demetria attended Lenoir County Public School for grades K-12. After high school she attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Demetria learned a lot of business skills from UNCG but she knew that was not satisfying her ultimate passion. She then went on to attend Lenoir Community College’s cosmetology program and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She has served as a cosmetologist at Hair M Porium Salon since 2015. She is an active member at Present Truth Ministries (Kinston, NC). She worked in Children’s Ministry at her church for over 4 years and served as a Summer Camp counselor for 3 years with the local parks and recreation department. Demetria also participates in the annual summer camp Hair M Porium hosts teaching young girls the fundamentals of cosmetology while simultaneously encouraging, uplifting, and showing them how to be young ladies.
