Dr. Linda S. Brunson
Dr. Linda S. Brunson is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Educational Leadership Department/College of Education at East Carolina University. She completed her Educational Specialist (sixth-year) degree in Supervision/Curriculum Specialist and her Doctorate of Educational Leadership at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She taught eight years and served in many administrative capacities in Clinton City Schools for an additional 25 years---assistant principal, principal, supervisor, director, Assistant and Associate Superintendents. Her 33 years of full time work in preK-12 education have afforded her many opportunities to interact with students and their parents, faculty and staff in an effort to improve academic outcomes for students. Dr. Brunson is currently serving as the chairperson of the Clinton City Schools Board of Education, where she focuses on school governance and how leaders can influence and improve teacher quality and student achievement.
