Sujata Bhatia
Sujata Bhatia is the Senior Vice President & GM for Global Merchant Services Europe. Sujata manages the P&L for merchant acquiring business & focuses on expanding merchant acceptance network & strengthening merchant relationships across Europe. Sujata was SVP of Global Strategy & Payments in Global Merchant & Network Services, leading a global team focused on delivering new payment forms & a premium merchant member experience to enable Amex acceptance. She joined American Express as Director in the Strategic Planning Group. She has held a variety of roles including Director of International Partnerships for the International Consumer Card Business, VP of Business Development, & VP of International Business Insights. She has held a number of Marketing roles including VP of International Marketing, leading a team across 21 markets driving marketing strategies & providing business insights analytics for Merchants, & VP of Acquisition, Loyalty & Engagement for Europe
