John Vann
Co-Founder and President, Regional Director, Board of Directors Tampa, FL Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army (retired) John is the visionary behind Racing4Vets and in the Summer of 2012 became the Co-Founder, Vice President, and our first veteran driver in the advanced competition program. He was additionally the first Regional Director in the Cincinnati area and the creator of the programs in place today. John served with the U.S. Army infantry in Iraq from 2001-2007, during which he suffered combat injuries including TBI and PTSD which required 2-3 years in rehabilitation. John has significant experience with nonprofits benefiting service-disabled veterans and brings his knowledge of veterans’ needs to Racing4Vets. In 2017 John took over as President of Racing4Vets to consolidate our programs to three main areas of focus: adaptive sports, automotive training and careers, and an advanced competition program.
