Dr. Jeimy Cano
Dr. Jeimy Cano is an Engineer & MSc in Systems & Computer Science from the Universidad de los Andes. Specialist in Disciplinary Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia. PhD in Business Administration from Newport University, CA USA & a Ph.D in Education by Universidad Santo Tomás, Colombia. He has 20+ yrs of experience as an academic, executive & information security, privacy, cybersecurity, information systems, government & IT auditing professional. In 2014 the National Police awarded him for his fight against cybercrime & digital investigations in Colombia. In 2016 he was named "Cybersecurity Educator of the year 2016" for Latin America by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Internal Control Auditor, & has an Executive Certificate in Leadership & Management from MIT Sloan School of Management. He has more than 150 publications in international journals & events, & is an international guest lecturer on security & control issues.
