Ben Payne
New School Mining Founder and CEO Ben Payne is an innovator and leader from the hardware and software fields, and a cryptocurrency miner throughout this decade. Ben’s fascination with cryptocurrency started in 2010 when he first heard of Bitcoin. This passion led to building Bitcoin miners back when GPUs could still be used profitably. He also purchased some of the first ASIC miners from Butterfly Labs and KNC. In 2017, he started developing a strategy for building a truly scalable GPU mining operation. Using his strong engineering skills, he developed a unique end-to-end system design that would be one of the most efficient and scalable systems in the world. The result was the creation of New School Mining, which is quickly establishing itself as a NextGen mining farm and enterprise with innovative focuses on co-located mining and strong customer service and relations.
