Dr. Katina Micheal
Dr. Michael is with Arizona State University, holding a joint appointment in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and the School of Computing, Informatics and Decision Systems Engineering. Katina is also the director of the Centre for Engineering, Policy and Society. Katina researches on the socio-ethical implications of emerging technologies with an emphasis on national security, and is a long-standing senior member of the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology. Dr. Michael has been a board member of the Australian Privacy Foundation since 2008. In 2020, Katina will officially launch the IEEE Transaction on Technology and Society as its founding editor.
