Addie W. Anderson, MA, LCPC is a licensed therapist and Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. Ten years ago, she founded Begin Within Counseling & Coaching Services, Inc., which is a group psychotherapy practice in Oak Park, IL that serves adolescents, couples, and adults dealing with mild to moderate mental health issues. Addie specializes in helping people manage difficult emotions as the result of a loss – usually due to death of a loved one. She is a member of Association for Death Education & Counseling as well as the American Counseling Association. She does not have a "one size fits all" philosophy. Treatment is catered to the individual needs of the person. As a certified life coach, she incorporates coaching strategies with clients when beneficial to treatment.
