Dr. Mich Kabay
Dr. Mich Kabay, PhD, CISSP, began programming in 1965, completed his PhD in 1976, then taught statistics & programming for the Canadian International Development Agency. Mich was a programmer on a compiler for a new 4GL, then he joined HP (Canada) as an HP3000 Systems Engineer. Mich founded his own consulting firm in 1986 & was Director of Education for the National Computer Security Association in 1990. Mich was a columnist for Computerworld & Network World and was responsible for the International Conferences on Information Warfare in 1993 & 1995. Mich helped the (ISC)^2 create the CISSP exam in 1996. Mich joined Norwich University in 2001 & created their BSc & MSc programs in Information Assurance. Mich redesigned & edited the 4th, 5th, & 6th editions of the Computer Security Handbook published by Wiley. He was inducted into the ISSA Hall of Fame in 2004.
