Cathy Orr
Cathy graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics, majoring in Clothing and Textiles with a minor in Business. Upon graduation in 1983, she joined her father’s privately held business, RGO Products Ltd. in the Window Coverings division. At the time, Window Coverings was a small division with only 2 salespeople. Calgary won the bid for the 1988 Olympics and RGO Window Coverings won the contract for the Olympic skating oval. In 2016, Cathy was appointed President and CEO at RGO.Today, Cathy works closely with the Senior Management team to build even more diversity within the company, ensuring RGO achieves initiatives within their 5 corporate goals.Her passion for people keeps her connected with RGO’s Human Resources initiatives. Her inner philanthropist continues to blossom as RGO continues to support the Calgary community by making significant contributions to organizations.She also enjoys her family, traveling, golfing, reading and quilting.
