Lori LoCicero
Lori LoCicero is an author, freelance writer and director, and the co-creator of The Death Deck. Her upcoming memoir, Clouds Far Behind Me, offers readers an intimate look at loss, living life after a death, and ultimately embracing growth. Her list of credits includes writing and directing independent films and behind-the-scenes documentaries, and freelancing for Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and Disney. Lori’s personal experience of loss led to her wholehearted conviction that suffering caused by tragedy can lead to Post-Traumatic Growth: an emerging field of psychology that explores the positive outcomes that often result after experiencing trauma. Her loss also led her to create The Death Deck: a lively and humorous card game that inspires important conversations on what matters most in our lives and in our deaths.
