Ronald Mahr
Ronald Mahrs is a retired Chief Warrant Officer and twenty-seven year veteran of the U.S. Navy, with twenty-two years of service as a Navy SEAL. Ron completed Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training in 1994, and subsequently was assigned to SEAL Team TWO in Virginia. In 2000 Ron screened for selection & training at SEAL Team SIX, and successfully finished his initial counter-terrorism training that same year. Ron’s career as a professional SEAL Operator includes fourteen deployments performed over the next ten years of combat service. Ron has conducted hundreds of combat missions, from helicopter assaults in Iraq and Afghanistan, to high altitude parachute insertions targeting terrorism networks. Ron’s military decorations over this time include the Silver Star and six Bronze Stars, as well as receiving two Defense Meritorious Service Medals. Ron recently founded the Gethin Group, a strategic leadership and human capital risk assessment company in Virginia.
