Jamal Hartenstein
Jamal Hartenstein currently serves as IT Security Program Manager at KAI Partners, one of California’s fastest-growing professional services companies. His role includes providing consultancy services to State agencies as well as working to produce the first of its kind training certificate program covering privacy, security, governance, and implementation. Jamal served in the US Army Military Intelligence corps and armed with a law degree, and has built a reputation as one of America’s foremost data privacy and cybersecurity legal experts. He has been named by Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls (CIS CSC) organization as a Champion of the framework, which was identified as the “reasonable standard” by California’s Attorney General. Jamal serves as Editorial Advisory Board Chairman for the CSHub.com. Jamal also serves on the Board of Directors for the Superior California YMCA, and as a mentor and policy advocate for the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC).
