Dr. Teresa E Sanders
Dr. Teresa E. Sanders has 20 years of experience in community mental health and has been an educator for 14 years. She is the founder and owner of Safari Small Schools, a private pre-K through 3rd grade micro-school for students who aren’t thriving in the traditional classroom setting. She is also a successful in-home teacher for students with significant behavior problems. She provides support and training to restore order in the home and achievement in academics. Dr. Sanders works successfully with diverse students taking a holistic, comprehensive approach to interpersonal interactions with parents and valuing them as allies in their children’s education. She serves as an information outlet and advocate for students and their families, helping them make informed decisions about their children’s education in and out of the public-school system.
