Dr. Maria Artunduaga
Dr. Maria Artunduaga who is the winner of the most recent UC Davis Big Bang Award. She is the CEO of Respira Labs, a startup that detects early signs of deterioration in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) using wearables and machine learning. She has 15 years of experience leading numerous research studies and the Gates Foundation-funded projects, published in the New England Journal of Medicine and Nature, and has earned over 25 fellowships, scholarships and prizes, was recently named Silicon Valley Top 40 under 40 AND was named a Ferolyn Fellow.
