Born in El Salvador yet raised in California, her family moved to the United States when she was about 2-years-old. Now at 21, Katherine A. Martinez, is bringing her light and passion to people’s lives through her personal book, poetry and be being her authentic self. She began performing live poetry to audiences in 2017. Her brand, A Flower Bloomed, is a metaphor for seeing her life as a flower. This idea gave her life a new meaning and shifted her perspective to welcoming all obstacles as great lessons. From this realization, she began writing her first book, The Awakening of the Subtle Flower. She believes if the world will do what they love, it will bring more love, peace and understanding to the world.
