Steven Curtis
Mr. Curtis has worked in the radiation and nuclear profession for more than 30 years. He was a technical program manager and team leader for the Department of Energy’s Nuclear Emergency Search Team in Nevada and a development official for the Nevada University System. He has been an innovator for nuclear energy in Nevada and a senior consultant on nuclear and counterterrorism issues. Currently, he is advancing nuclear energy as a way to contribute to clean energy production and his ideas on recycling used nuclear fuel are gaining attention throughout the country. He served as an Armor Commander in the Nevada National Guard. He is a member of the American Nuclear Society and is a past president of the ANS Section in Las Vegas, Nevada. He holds a BSEE and Master’s Degree in Health Physics from UNLV.
