Frank Kim is the founder and CEO of ThinkSec, which provides strategic security consulting and CISO advisory services. Previously, as CISO at the SANS Institute, Frank led the information risk function for the most trusted source of computer security training and certification in the world. Frank has over twenty years experience leading, building, and transforming cybersecurity and technology programs for enterprises across a variety of industries including healthcare, insurance, financial services, and technology. Based on this experience, Frank focuses on strategic leadership, organizational transformation, and balancing leading security practices with business needs. Frank holds degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and is the author and instructor of popular courses on CISO leadership, strategic planning, DevSecOps, and cloud security.
