Miriam Chickering
Miriam specializes in creative, collaborative solutions for the healthcare sector through a nonprofit organization that creates affordable, technologically savvy nursing curriculum for developing countries and empowers nurses to change their world. Most recently she has partnered with VersityU to provide vital nursing curriculum and artificial intelligence tutoring in over 80 countries free of charge to nurses unable to afford the cost of books. Her background includes business strategy, product development, curriculum development, and staff education. Starting with a BSN and minor in science from Pensacola Christian College in 2004, Miriam began a traditional career in Med/Surg, Ortho and OB with a certification in Lactation. In 2010, she became an Obstetric Nurse Consultant and in 2011 added teaching as an Adjunct Professor at DMACC.
