Tammy has decades of nursing experience spent as an ED/trauma nurse. Currently, a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), & Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN). She is an anti-human trafficking consultant & published author, available for speaking engagements, panel discussions, protocol development, & trauma-informed care presentations that incorporate adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) & toxic stress education. Tammy recently spoke at the American Nurses Association (ANA) General Assembly in Washington, D.C. on Human Trafficking; A Nursing Perspective in Solving a Public Health Crisis. Her efforts led to initiation and policy changes adopted for a national human trafficking task force for nursing.
