Paula Hartman-Stein
Paula Hartman-Stein, Ph.D. is a nationally recognized clinical psychologist gerontology educator, journalist and creative non-fiction writer. After retiring from full-time work as a clinician in private practice and adjunct professor at the University of Akron, Kent State University, and Northeast Ohio Medical University, Dr. Hartman-Stein works part-time as an elder care consultant and offers intergenerational writing workshops. Broadening her promotion of the power of the pen to community and professional groups, she uses narrative as an approach to reduce stress, deepen spirituality and enhance optimal aging.
