Seth Fischer
Seth Fischer’s essays have twice been listed notable in The Best American Essays, and his writing has appeared in publications including Buzzfeed, Best Sex Writing, Guernica, and The Rumpus. He is a writer and editor and a board member of the bisexual advocacy nonprofit BiNet USA, with whom he attended President Obama’s 2016 Bisexual Community Meeting. He is also a Lambda Literary Fellow. When not writing or being an activist, he is a developmental editor of fiction and nonfiction, and he was the founding Sunday editor of the literary website The Rumpus and is currently the nonfiction editor at The Nervous Breakdown. He also has an MA in political science from Syracuse University and an MFA from Antioch University Los Angeles, and he will be starting a PhD program in Creative Writing and Literature at USC in the fall.
