Liz Fisher

Liz is the Founder and CEO of LAVVA, a nourishing, plant-based yogurt. Liz got her start in the nutrition, health & wellness space for radio. She stepped in as a producer for her husband, a physician/radio show host/health and nutrition author. This position gave her access to researchers exploring the relationship between nutrition and medicine. This motivated her to want to change the quality of food and make it available to the most people. Her first product was a no sugar high fiber muffin called Muffin A Day. She went on to bring a flourless organic sprouted bread called Alvarado St. Bakery to thousands of stores and then Pirate’s Booty, a popular baked snack. Right before Lavva, Liz was working to bring selling KeVita Kombucha, a probiotic beverage, and that began the journey into cultured fresh food. Liz’s experience with ovarian cancer caused her to entirely rethink her relationship with food. This new viewpoint led her to develop LAVVA.
