Ashley Schmidt
Ashley Schmidt is President & Founder of the national non-profit professional organization, Women in Healthcare. She oversees the startup & growth of organization chapters all over the country. After a decade serving on organizational boards & in the HC industry, Ashley saw a gap in education & mentorship offered to females in healthcare and developed a program to encourage & empower women to rise to the top. Ashley has a certification in Evidence Based Design for Healthcare (EDAC) and is a Certified Professional Service Marketer (CPSM). Her insight as VP, Director of Business Development at the architecture firm, HKS Inc. assists her development of strategic business plans for the firm and implementation of east coast client relations strategy for healthcare. Ashley has a BA in Communications & Business from Loyola University in Baltimore, is pursuing her Masters in Healthcare Management and is a popular conference presenter.
