Michele Welling
Michele Welling, MD is the director of professional training for EBT, charged with shaping the professional certification courses that support the medical, psychological, and behavioral workforce in updating their knowledge of science and their clinical skills to deliver preventive and therapeutic EBT coaching and groups for Brain Based Health. Living in Kentucky and an EBT leader since 2013, Dr. Welling has unique perspectives on the power of EBT to transform lives and healthcare. She has been an Internal Medicine physician for over 29 years and is presently a Medical Director for a County Detention Center in Lexington, Kentucky, and Medical Director for an Addiction Clinic. Her professional interests include neurobiology as it relates to stress and disease, psychiatry, and addiction.
