Lawrence Scanlan lives in Kingston, Ontario and is the author or co-author of more than two dozen books. They include: 'The Horse God Built' (about the life of Secretariat, with a focus on the horse's groom, Eddie Sweat); 'Wild About Horses' (the history of the horse-human relationship), and 'The Man Who Listens to Horses' (the memoir of horse trainer Monty Roberts). Working title is 'Bloodlines: Brothers & Baseball.' I am also working on a Young Adult novel. Working title is 'The Fog Diaries.' About eleven-year-old twins and their parents who ride out a pandemic on an island north of their city.
