Lisa Romano, CNO of Cipherhealth, my guest for May 18, 2020, and I met in the Fall of 2019, long before anyone was even thinking of a novel coronavirus. When we were actually able to connect for the show, it became apparent that Lisa’s Career led her to the right place, right time to play a shero role in the COVID-19 crisis. She had been working with Hospitals for many years to create streamlined processes in rooming, moving/discharging, cleaning, re-rooming patients. Prior to Cipherhealth, Lisa Romano had years of clinical experience (CCU), hospital administration of patient flow & transfer center, as well as IT strategy, which she brought to this role.
