J. Norwell Coquillard
J. Norwell Coquillard is the Executive Director of the Washington State China Relations Council. He relocated to the Seattle area in 2016 after a 32-year career living in North Asia. Immediately prior to his move to the U.S. he served as the Chairman and President of Enactus China, the China operations of U.S. based non-profits Enactus. From 2011 to 2017 he also concurrently served as the Chairman of IMA Asia China, an organization which runs peer group forums for the China based CEO’s of multinational corporations. Prior to that he was the chairman and president of Cargill Investment (China) Limited, the China operating company for Cargill Incorporated of the United States. Before moving to China in 1998, Coquillard served as the country manager for Cargill operations in Japan and Korea from 1984 until 1997. Coquillard was the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in 2008-09. He currently also serves at the International Advisory Board of APCO Worldwide.
