Being an author carries heavy responsibilities and ecstatic joys. A lifetime of careers all centered on my visual acuity and deficits in my ability to grasp the meaning of the written word, now known to be called Dyslexia. Being a strong "Left-Brained' artist with a talent for finding color in every aspect of life, I found that words have become my color palette. Beginning my professional life as an interior designer, I began writing a "Dear Decorator" column for a New York newspaper and went on to become a reporter, and then a freelancer for Cape Cod Home magazine. The love of horses and a lifetime of memories generated from joyful moments spent on Mackinac Island, Michigan where all transportation is horse "driven". created the raw material for the rich sharing of history and fantasy through the pages of the Libbie Lyndton Adventure series.
