Teri Slack
Dr. Teri Slack, is co-founder and chief business officer for StarBio, the 2020 UC Davis Big Bang winner. She is a Life Science professional with a PhD in chemistry from UC Davis. During her doctoral studies, Teri worked to develop potential therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. With an interest in translational research, Teri launched her career doing business and product development for an early-stage disease diagnostics company in Davis, CA. She is currently an R&D project manager for a nutraceutical manufacturing company. Teri advises life science start-up companies on their business strategy and she’s currently an MBA candidate at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
