Joel Yonts
Security thought leader, researcher, strategist, and advisor, Joel Yonts is a seasoned security executive with more than 25 years of technology and cybersecurity experience. Named a Security thought Leader by the SANS Institute in 2010, Yonts holds active certifications in digital forensics, incident response, malware reverse engineering, web application penetration, security leadership, and ethical hacking. He is active in law enforcement and research communities with involvement in multiple public sector and industry research groups including FBI Infragard, Botnet Threat Focus Cell, FBI Emerging Threat Working Group, and NCFTA Anti-SPAM Working Group. Areas of published research includes malware reverse engineering, new digital forensics techniques for emerging platforms, and is a named contributor of the annual Verizon DBIR Data Breach Report.
