Kelly Cairns
Dr. Kelly Cairns graduated veterinary school from CSU in 2004, completed a small animal rotating internship at Cornell in 2005 and completed a small animal internal medicine residency at OSU in 2008, at which time she obtained Diplomate status. Dr Cairns enjoyed a rewarding clinical practice as Internist and medical director of a multi-specialty/ER hospital in Chicagoland prior to stepping into her current role at Pathway Vet Alliance, which supports almost 400 veterinary hospitals across the country. Dr. Cairns has been with Pathway Vet Alliance since January 2018 as the National Director of Internal Medicine, Chair of the Pathway Specialty Director Board and Director of Specialty and Emergency Medicine. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her three children (6, 8 and 10 years old), husband, two cats and very sweet but poorly mannered Great Dane/Lab mix!
