Commander Guy Snodgrass
Commander Guy Snodgrass, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and U.S. Naval War College, is considered one of the greatest Navy fighter pilots of his time. As the real-life inspiration for the blockbuster TOPGUN films, Snodgrass remains on the Navy’s Fighter Weapons School staff as an instructor and trains the top 1% of our nation's fighter pilots. He regularly appears on national news programs to comment on current military affairs. Snodgrass served as former Defense Secretary James Mattis’ director of communications before becoming the CEO of Defense Analytics, a strategic advisory firm that deals mainly in national security and foreign policy. His second book, “TopGun’s Top 10: Leadership Lessons From the Cockpit” will be released in September. Commander Snodgrass uses his platform to impart advice on developing refined leadership skills and hopes his experiences in TOPGUN school inspire a new generation of leaders.
