Heidi Herman
Heidi Herman was born and raised in Central Illinois, but her passion and a common theme in her writing is her Icelandic heritage. After a 30-year career in business, Heidi turned to fiction writing full time. Her first book, "The Legends of the Icelandic Yule Lads," was inspired by her childhood memories of Scandinavian legends and lore. Other books followed, including an Icelandic cookbook and a novel. And now we have her latest book, "On With the Butter! Spread More Living onto Everyday Life." In addition to writing, Heidi loves Scandinavian festivals, cooking, photography, travel, and the outdoors. She currently lives in South Dakota but snowbirds south in the winter to Arizona.
