Ted Jackson
Ted Jackson is a disability and LGBTQ+ advocate who currently serves as the DNC’s Senior Advisor for Accessibility and Disability Engagement. He directed accessibility efforts for Democratic National Conventions Philadelphia (2016) and Milwaukee (2020). In 2016 he was also the National Director of Disability Engagement for the DNC and Hillary for America Victory 2016. A native of California, he organized the Disability Organizing Network (DOnetwork) with accessibility successes in public transportation, healthcare and voting rights. He served as a voter accessibility advisory to CA Secretary of State Alex Padilla. As an LGBTQ+ campaign operative he was a Senior Regional Field Director for the 2008 No on Prop 8 campaign, the Field Director for the successful 2004 Campaign to Repeal Article XII (Cincinnati), and currently serves on the LGBTQ Victory Fund Campaign Board.
