Dr. David Susman
David Susman, PhD is a licensed psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Kentucky. He is the director of the Jesse G. Harris, Jr. Psychological Services Center and training director of the University of Kentucky Internship Consortium program. He worked for over 24 years at Eastern State Hospital, a public psychiatric hospital in Lexington, KY. Dr. Susman has been active in advocacy initiatives at the state and Federal levels and he writes a popular mental health and advocacy blog which features effective mental health resources and inspiring true “Stories of Hope” from people who share their mental health challenges and successes.
