Daci Iglesias
My name is Daci, a half-Colombian, half-Cuban, Miami native. I earned my first Reiki Master certification in March 2003 by Reiki Master Teacher, Jody Rowe-Staley, and my second Master certification in June 2020 by Reiki Master Teacher, Luz Duque. I believe we all have the innate ability to heal ourselves by targeting the root causes of our dis-eases. Unhealed traumas can manifest in the physical body as an illnesses, as was my case. One of many traumatic childhood experiences I repressed for 20 years, caused an imbalance to my throat chakra, leading to Hashimoto's, an auto-immune disease that attacks and damages the thyroid. The throat chakra is one of seven main energy points we have throughout our bodies; it is responsible for communication and rules over the throat and thyroid. Each chakra governs different organs, body parts, and emotions. By identifying what chakra is blocked, Reiki energy can then be used to treat underlying issues and begin a healing process.
