Carol Poore
Carol A. Poore, Ph.D., is a transformative expert in strategic planning. She presents a trailblazing leadership approach for vital strategic planning in her new book, Strategic Impact: A Leader’s Three-Step Framework for the Customized Vital Strategic Plan (Fast Company Press, 2021). Based in Phoenix, Carol provides strategic planning consulting and training support for businesses, nonprofits and trade associations, specializing in organizations with annual revenue under $500 million. She serves on faculty at Arizona State University in the School of Public Affairs. Carol has served as CEO for a nonprofit healthcare organization, as Vice Provost at Arizona State University, and at Salt River Project Water and Power, she served as a strategic planning and marketing executive and started up an energy sales subsidiary company. She received her Ph.D. in Public Administration, her MBA and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Arizona State University.
