Sarah Miller

Sarah grew up in Aurora, MN, a small Iron Range town in Northern Minnesota. After graduating from high school she continued her education at Bemidji State, Mn where she earned a B.S. degree in elementary education. Upon graduation, Ms. Miller was hired in Jordan, MN. She has been teaching for the Jordan School District for 28 years, first grade through eighth grade. Currently, she is working as the district's Culturally Responsive Teaching Specialist, Instructional Coach, and Behavior Specialist, and American Indian Parent Advisory Coordinator. After raising her son, she continued her education and earned a master's degree in educational leadership and certifications in administration, Restorative Practices, and Culturally Responsive Teaching. Today she is working towards earning her EdD in Equity and Inclusion Administrative Leadership. Sarah's passion involves creating and honoring systems, processes, procedures, policies, programs, and training that are inclusive and equitable. She finds joy in her profession by facilitating a collaborative process that creates a culturally responsive, equitable, and inclusive organizational culture.
