David Korten
Dr. David Korten is well known for his acclaimed and influential books WHEN CORPORATIONS RULE THE WORLD; THE GREAT TURNING: From Empire to Earth Community; AGENDA FOR A NEW ECONOMY: From Phantom Wealth to Real Wealth; and CHANGE THE STORY, CHANGE THE FUTURE: A Living Economy for a Living Earth. He is a co-founder and board chair emeritus of YES! Magazine, President of the Living Economies Forum, and a member of the Club of Rome. He writes a regular “A Living Earth Economy” column for YES! With MBA and Ph.D. degrees from the Stanford Business School he has served as a Harvard Business School professor, and has thirty years of experience as an international development professional in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
