Anne Dobson
Anne Dobson, Founder, Effective Behaviour Management Anne started in 2003 as a high school teacher in Albury and taught over two and a half thousand students and worked with their families for 14 years. At the same time, she spent 7 years developing positive behaviour management systems in her school and trained other schools in the Riverina for a further 3 years. Anne realised that families missed out learning how to manage their child’s behaviour. She saw many parents struggle to understand their child’s behaviour and many unhappy relationships because of this struggle. That’s why Anne started Effective Behaviour Management in 2020: to give parents behaviour management skills just like teachers have. Anne combines her talents as a teacher and her knowledge in behaviour management to coach parents. By breaking down the whole process into bite sized chunks, parents learn to manage their child’s behaviour easily and with confidence. Anne loves working with families and seeing how her coaching make families much more relaxed with their children and able to enjoy their time with them much more. When she’s not coaching, Anne enjoys life along the Murray River with her husband and her dog. She has a son who lives in Melbourne.
