Alexey Katko
Alexey Katko was born in Kazakhstan. Three years later, his parents moved to America with their six children to escape religious persecution. Alexey grew up in Belchertown, MA, near the University of Massachusetts. In 9th grade, Alexey started a landscaping business and joined the swim team. Around that time, he survived an explosion from a CO2 cartridge firecracker and spent two years and nine operations in recovery. After high school, he attended college for one semester but shifted gears into the construction field. Ten years later, an on-the-job back injury ended his construction career. Now he lives in Hawaii and offers a unique form of small business consulting and managing for coffee and chocolate farms. To fulfill his purpose of bringing value to humanity, on March 28, 2021, he started to read 10 letters every evening at 7 pm Hawaii time on the audio-only social media platform Clubhouse. Since starting the letter-reading journey, he has made connections and friends all over the world from South Africa to Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Canada, and America. He has published an e-book, “1,000 letters of Encouragement”, available for free download on www.1000LettersOfEncouragement.com. Alexey’s big vision is to inspire 1 billion handwritten letters of encouragement around the world.
