Falone Serna
Falone Serna joined Whittier College to lead the college’s recruitment, admission, and enrollment efforts.
Serna brings over 15 years of experience in the field, most recently serving as the Director of Admission for Seaver College at Pepperdine University. Prior to Pepperdine he served as the Director of Admission at Reed College and has also worked in the admission offices at Harvey Mudd College and the University of La Verne.
Serna has served on committees at the regional and national level, including the Admission Practices Committee for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and the Executive Board for the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC). He also recently participated as a mentor for the WACAC Leadership Development Institute.
Serna, a first-generation college graduate, earned his BA in broadcast communications from the University of La Verne and his MA in communications from California State University, Fullerton.
