Tandy Aye,MD
Tandy Aye, MD, is professor of pediatrics and child psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine . She practices pediatric endocrinology and is the founder and medical director of the Stanford Children’s Health Pediatric and Adolescent Gender Clinic. Her recent research, which we will be discussing today, is : Perceptions of Support Among Transgender and Gender-Expansive Adolescents and Their Parents. Dr. Aye has also done a TED talk advocating for how to rethink gender healthcare for our gender expansive adolescents. Dr. Aye is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Jefferson Medical College. She completed her internship and residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology: Mass General Hospital for Children and Joslin Diabetes Center.
