Laura Amigone
Laura Amigone is the founder of Rudder Coaching, offering 1-on-1 coaching for college students who want to make the most of their college experience and reach their full college potential. After 5 years in college admissions at Fordham University and Columbia University, Laura moved to the other side of the desk as a high school guidance and college counselor for 10 years at Xavier High School in Manhattan. During this time, she saw the need for more focus on the skills needed to be successful throughout the ups and downs of college, not just getting into college. Laura brings a unique combination of professional experience, and her own personal experience as a former college procrastinator, to teach students how to manage college time, grow their college confidence, and clarify their academic and career goals. While colleges have great resources, the personalized, consistent, skills-building coaching can be just what a student needs to get on the path they want towards their goals.
