Joseph Stern, MD
Dr. Stern is a board-certified neurosurgeon in Greensboro, N.C. In his new book, “Grief Connects Us: A Neurosurgeon’s Lessons on Love, Loss, and Compassion,” he shares the lessons he’s learned from his own personal journey through grief after his younger sister passed away from leukemia, along with those of patients and colleagues he’s met over the course of his career. He is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgeons, the Congress of Neurosurgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
