Brian Fitzgerald
Brian Fitzgerald is an institutional portfolio manager for Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. Mr. Fitzgerald’s responsibilities include representing the portfolio positioning and research perspectives of the investment teams to our distribution partners and end clients. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mr. Fitzgerald was a client portfolio manager for QS Investors, a quantitative multi-asset and equity manager, where he was responsible for the business development and strategy representation efforts in the broker-dealer and private wealth channel. QS Investors combined with Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Solutions in 2020 to create Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions. Before joining QS Investors, Mr. Fitzgerald was a vice president at Legg Mason & Co, LLC, responsible for the distribution of all strategies across their multi-affiliate platform in the Minnesota territory. He held similar distribution positions at Legg Mason & Co, LLC for over 5 years and was previously a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch from 2010 – 2013. Mr. Fitzgerald holds a bachelor of science in finance and economics from Fairfield University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
