Dr. Toby Gouker
With over 40 years of management experience in industry and academia, Dr. Gouker currently serves as an Executive Vice President for First Healthcare, is a partner in a healthcare focused SDVOSB-Enabled Advisors, and holds Adjunct Faculty status at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he teaches on a variety of technology leadership subjects. He is the co-author of the Control Account Manager's Handbook, and holder of several technology-based patents. Capitalizing on his years of experience as the Provost of the SANS Technology Institute, he has helped grow the cybersecurity practice at First Health Advisory utilizing a build, rather than buy strategy for the development of the unique cybersecurity team members required to help healthcare delivery organizations secure their connected assets. Dr. Gouker has been a university lecturer for over 15 years and is regularly invited by organizations to speak on current issues and solution in the healthcare cybersecurity community.
