Allison DeBattista
Allison is a founding member of Epilepsy Alliance America and serves as a board member of the Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana During the time she was Executive Director, she was responsible for implementing the organization’s business plan to advance its goals and achieve its mission. Allison increased the budget by 88 percent with sustainable funding and raised more than $1 million for epilepsy services. But she will tell you that her greatest accomplishment has been teaching others how to self-advocate. Currently, Allison is a director on the public affairs team at Moore and is responsible for coalition building, stakeholder engagement, and public relations. She has experience in the health care space and works to ensure patient access to care across the southeast. Moore is a woman-owned marketing and communications agency offering a full suite of services. With 29 years of proven success, Moore is ranked as a top 50 agency in the nation, as recognized by O’Dwyer’s Report. As a board member for Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana, Allison plans to continue volunteering to teach the importance of advocacy on a local, state, and federal level and to help empower communities to use their voices. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.
