Galina Varchena
Galina Varchena leads NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia’s General Assembly and local government policy work as well as fostering relationships with our partner organizations and local communities. She has a deep drive to promote social justice in all its forms, especially with respect to reproductive freedom. Galina graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2012 and received her Masters of International Politics and Development a year later. Following graduation she worked as an attorney in private practice and for legal non-profits fighting for social and environmental justice and women’s rights and represented clients in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings.
